Hillstone Partners is a company composed of employees from Korea M&A Co., Ltd., the first professional M&A company in Korea. It exerted a synergistic effect by leveraging the long-term experience of Korea M&A Co., Ltd. and a team of investment experts. Investment experts with more than 10 years of experience from Samsung Asset Management, Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Mirae Asset, Dashin Securities, KTB, etc. gathered to form a professional investment company in 2010, and we have a professional and strong network especially in the fields of IT and clean tech. Aiming at main investment target regions of South Korea, China, Japan, etc., a PE fund portfolio is being established. Not only are we establishing a fund, but we also aim to develop a platform to support other PE Funds and portfolios.
The vision of the Hillstone project is to share the value of innovation with everyone. We aim to reduce the inequality of individuals’ geographical and economic position in closed financial markets by utilizing Hillstone tokens to provide various investment products such as bonds and private equity funds that are not accessible to individual investors. To achieve this, we have several detailed goals.
First, we will introduce ways to reduce legal and geographical constraints on countries that are unnecessary for investment. Existing financial industries and equity-invested crowdfunding were very difficult for investments to move from country to country due to investments made by legal currency. We will drastically reduce investment accessibility and investment costs by building a platform that can easily contract and transfer investment value within the current legal system, using blockchain networks, cryptocurrency, and cryptocurrency trading infrastructure.
In addition, we will establish a federated network of proven investment agencies. Hillstone’s network of financial associations will continue to provide startup investment products with as much information as possible, including corporate due diligence reports that are essential to startup investment, allowing many individual investors to access quality investment products.
Finally, while serving as a bridge between the decentralized and investment banking industries within current regulations, it will create strong links to services that can be provided in decentralized finance. This will give government and financial institutions time and time to think about decentralized financing and create industrial and legal foundations, eventually allowing Hillstone to grow into a fully decentralized form of comprehensive financial platform.
